The Snow Challenge

This takes place once a year in February. The idea is you drive your as-crap-as-possible car all the way to the Baltic states, and use them to get around the countryside on mostly gravel roads. Or if you don't have your own vehicle you can outcrap any other team by flying in to Riga and renting from us one of our 1970's classic Lada!
Yes, we will be avoiding big motorways and overcrowded places! Instead of that our road book will take you to abandoned villages, empty ex-Soviet army bases and long beaches. All this despite on corrugated, ill-mantained twisted country gravel roads!

Typical Itinerary:

February 18th London to Denmark.
February 19thDenmark to Stockholm (Sweden), ferry to Tallinn.
February 20th Tallinn to Haapsalu, featuring Tallinn sights, Army base number 1, icefall (frozen waterfall), possible ice bridge number 1, hotel on the frozen beach.
